GoCardless is the secure payment system we use to collect rent each week. Once set up, payments are automatically debited from your nominated bank account — so you don’t have to worry about missing a due date. It’s simple, safe, and hassle-free.

From June 22nd of 2025 Friendstay will cease to accept other types of payments with no exceptions.

Your ledger is in your portal and you can download it anytime you need it by accessing your account and navigating to your active rental plan with us. To access your account please go to the question "What is the members portal?" were you will find all the information you need about the portal.

If you’re experiencing an issue or have something you'd like to report, the best way to reach us is through the Help Desk in our portal. You’ll find it in the navigation bar.

To submit a help request:

1. Go to the "Help Request" section of the portal.

2. Click the orange “+ Ask For Help” button.

3. Select the category that best matches your issue.

4. Submit your request — we’ll get back to you as soon as possible!

• Fit Out Use this for urgent property issues such as gas leaks, electrical faults, flooding, burst pipes, loss of utilities, or serious roof damage.

• Invoicing Select this for anything related to rental payments, invoices, or charges.

• Keys Locked out? Need an extra set of keys or a new FOB? Choose this category for any key or access-related issue.

• Lease Transfer Need to transfer your lease to someone else? Use this category and include the new tenant’s full name, email, phone number, and any required documentation to verify their identity. We’ll handle the process and make it as smooth as possible.

• Operations Use this for general property-related enquiries including maintenance, furniture, or flatmate situations.
