Anyone can refer someone to us, and everyone has the chance to earn. If your referral signs a lease and moves in, you’ll receive up to $250 AUD as a thank-you from us. It’s our way of showing appreciation for helping grow the Friendstay community.​

Are You a Current Tenant? We’ve Got Extra Perks for You

If you’re currently living with us, there are even more ways to benefit. If you’re moving out and help us find a suitable replacement for your room, we’ll cover your exit cleaning fee. If you’re staying in one of our units and someone else is moving out, you’ll have the opportunity to help choose who moves in next. If your referral is approved and they join the household, you’ll receive a referral bonus that will be credited to your next rent invoice.​

How to Make a Referral

To submit a referral, simply log in to the Friendstay Portal and send a message to the Help Desk. Choose “Referral Program” as the department. In the subject line, please include your unit number and address. In the message, let us know your friend’s name, phone number, and email so we can contact them right away and get things moving.​

When Is the Referral Confirmed?

Your referral will become official once the person you referred has paid the security deposit for their new room or unit and their check-in process has started. Once that’s done, we’ll reach out to you with details on how your reward will be delivered — either transferred to you directly (if you are not renting with us) or applied as a credit on your next invoice (if you are staying with us).​
